I have been a reborn artist for about 6+ years now. I paint with many layers of genesis heats set paints ,mottling veins,milia,I use a doe suede body filled with glass beads and poly fill I use alpaca mohair for hair.Sometime I paint hair and add hair overlaying the paint for a double effect.If the baby has eyes I use Lausha german glass eyes.I only work with full limbed kits.The eyelashes are rooted and brows are drawn sometimes with a few hairs of alpaca mohair for dimension.I have sold over 100 something and counting all over the world to very happy customers.My prices are reasonable and my work is priced differently on each doll based on how I think it came out.
I do not micro root one hair at a time. I root more hairs simultaneously if I did Mono/micro root I’d charge $2000+ for my work.Mono rooting can take a month to do.No hand painted doll is perfect maybe prototypes and I’m not a pro type artist.
